Keiki caucus, nonprofits advocate for paid family leave, higher minimum wage

Friday, January 24th, 2020 - Legislators and community leaders came together on Jan. 24 to unveil their plan to address economic, education and health challenges along with  their efforts to advocate for families in Hawai'i. The conference was held by Rep. John Mizuno and Sen. Karl Rhoads, co-conveners of the legislative keiki caucus and Deborah Zysman of Hawaii Children’s Action Network

"We started putting together this legislative agenda since the summer of 2019, combining efforts of 30 different nonprofit experts on the subject," said Zysman, HCAN executive director, in an interview with Pacific Business News.
