We are also enraged that these tragedies continue to occur. Children’s lives should not be at risk every time they enter a classroom. Yet today’s violence marks at least the 30th shooting at a K-12 school in 2022, according to CNN. 

Ending this violence will take all of us. We need everyone to step up and take action — even us in Hawaiʻi.
