- Ensure that FLC membership includes individuals who can bring lived experience in the diverse and intersectional barriers faced by families.
- Organize meetings, events, and trainings and ensure that FLC members have what they need to participate fully.
The Coordinator’s responsibilities will also include:
- Strategic planning, program management, and community engagement with diverse organizations and community members.
- Building relationships among community leaders and between community leaders and power-holders.
The ideal candidate is:
- Comfortable in an extremely fast-paced and dynamic environment and is a self-starter who has excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- An effective communicator, can build relationships with ease, is passionate about equity, and has a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a group.
- Passionate about and motivated toward structural change centered on community power, relationships, movement-building, and racial equity.
