Donor Advised Funds
Give through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) HERE.
What is a DAF?
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized vehicle for charitable giving that makes it easy for donors to dedicate funds to support their favorite nonprofit organization. It also provides an operationally convenient and tax-efficient method for donors to manage their charitable giving.
With a DAF, charitably inclined individuals, families, and businesses make an irrevocable gift to a public charity that sponsors a donor-advised fund program and may take an immediate tax deduction.

Gifts of Stock
Appreciated publicly-traded securities offer a desirable way to make a contribution and avoid taxes. Making a gift of securities is simple and generally offers a number of valuable financial benefits:
- You can donate appreciated stocks or bonds
- The total value of the stock upon transfer may be tax-deductible
If you wish to make a gift of securities, please contact Angelina Mercado at (808) 380-1573 or by email. Gifts of closely held securities require the prior approval of Hawaii Children's Action Network.
