Wahine Forum 2018

We are hosting a fun and engaging table at the Wahine Forum, Hawaii’s largest leadership and career development conference for women. Come join us if you want to have a blast talking to professional women, while learning about the most critical issues facing children and families in Hawaii!

Table Volunteer Duties

-Engage event attendees alongside staff and fellow volunteers

-Run various activities with Forum attendees

-Take photos

-Pass out resources

-Set up/Clean up

-Have fun!!!

BEFORE SIGNING UP, YOU SHOULD KNOW...

-There is no secure storage for volunteer belongings. Please only bring items that you can carry on your person or fit under the table.

-You may be asked to stand for an extended period of time.

-Business Casual attire required

Qualifications: No background knowledge or experience required. Anyone who is high-energy and would like to attend this exciting Forum is welcome!

Time Commitment: Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM or 11:30-4 PM HST.

Training/Support Provided: No training required aside from event training provided on the day of the event during set-up. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator for additional support.

Benefits: Breakfast, lunch and parking will be provided for volunteers. An opportunity to learn about how HCAN advocates for keiki and their families and the different campaigns we have participated in and are planning for the next policy season.
